Victor Brinkman’s name is listed on the Original Honor Roll list, which was in the Evening Record during World War I.

A short article which appeared in the Evening Record on November 27, 1918 tells of Victor Brinkman being gassed and wounded in France. For his wounds, Victor Brinkman would have received the Purple Heart.
